Loren Witcher (he, him)

Loren has a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Beginning a meditation practice at the age of 13, Loren has been dedicated to sharing meditation with young people for nearly three decades. Loren has played an active role in the Tools for Peace (TFP) community since its inception in 2000 while studying meditation with TFP’s founder Lama Chödak Gyatso Nubpa. Loren led the development of TFP’s workshop and camp formats while pioneering teaching meditation in Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area public schools. In 2015, Loren and the TFP team won a Webby Award for creating the Stop, Breathe & Think meditation app. Loren has led meditation workshops for WHO, WNBA, People Now, Goop, Honest Company, Livestrong, Cheddar, Media Arts Lab, UCLA Hammer Museum, USC Pacific Asia Museum, Norton Simon Museum, UC Fresno and Occidental College among many others.
