Tools for Peace guides students through a series of activities that engage their minds, bodies, and hearts to develop their compassion, mindfulness, and social/emotional awareness.

Throughout its twenty-year history, Tools for Peace programs have opened the way to greater equanimity, kindness, compassion, and joy for people from all walks of life, from incarcerated youth to graduate students, to diverse communities from Los Angeles to Oakland; and to parents, teachers, and corporate professionals.

We have partnered with scientists and scholars to measure our success. We have sought the counsel of mindfulness experts to make our programs accessible, exciting, challenging, and relevant. We welcome you to become part of Tools for Peace as a student, a volunteer, a friend, and a supporter!
