We have all been experiencing a great deal of change within the last three months.  It has been a difficult decision to move our annual summer program online, but we feel like this is the best way to keep our campers and staff healthy and safe. And, by reimagining our services in an uncertain financial time, we can ensure Tools for Peace will be able to continue its programming for years to come!

We’re excited to make this online summer camp special and still connect with you, our campers, in creative, compassionate, and inspiring ways.

Our online summer camp will be hosted via Zoom and run:

Friday, July 24, 2020 – Monday, July 27, 2020.

Camp will include an abbreviated version of our Stop, Breathe & Think curriculum. As we navigate so much change and uncertainty at this time, we will be emphasizing lessons on compassion for others and for ourselves.

Our goal is to make this workshop an opportunity for personal growth, to connect with others, and enjoy some good ol’ fashioned summer camp fun! Enrichment activities will include a music video workshop where campers learn to write a song and create a virtual music video together and yoga – a camp favorite! We’ll also be hosting two evening activities – game night and a talent show!

The following is a sample schedule:

Day 1, Friday, July 24:

Block A: 10am – 12:30pm:

SBT Workshop: icebreakers, mindful activities, meditation, journaling, and discussion

Block B: 4pm – 6:30pm:

Yoga Workshop

Evening Activity: Game Night

Day 2, Saturday, July 25:

Block A: 10am – 12:30pm:

SBT Workshop: mindful activities, meditation, journaling, and discussion

Block B: 4pm – 5pm:

Virtual Songwriting/Music Video Workshop

Evening Activity: Talent Show Rehearsal

Day 3, Sunday, July 26:

Block A: 10am – 12:30pm:

Block B: 4pm – 6:30pm

**Campers that complete all four days of the Stop, Breathe & Think workshops will receive a certificate and a special SB&T poster!
