Tools For Peace programs facilitate the step-by-step curriculum of the Personal Mandala Workbook, and provide participants with the support needed to actively incorporate compassion, peace and well-being into their daily lives, communities, and our world.
Tools For Peace offers programs for teens, schools, professionals, and adults who wish to become trained Support Team Members or Facilitators.
Using the Personal Mandala Workbook Tools For Peace program participants experience transformation through an innovative structure of activities including:
- Artistic expression – creating a Personal Mandala
- Reflective writing
- Discussion
- Mindfulness & Meditation
- Movement – yoga and tai chi
- Community-building
Using motivation, mindfulness and meditation, program participants develop increased positive attitudes and actions.

- Patience: the ability to meet situations and people as they are without judgment or frustration, and to keep a calm mind in the face of unexpected or unwanted circumstances
- Diligence: to act in a consistent, methodical way to learn and grow
- Concentration: an ability to remain undistracted and focused
- Knowledge: understanding through active listening, critical analysis and experiential practice
