training and certification

As we greatly appreciate your own ability and desire to benefit others, we invite you to join our Support Team. We are pleased to now offer an official training track for the members of our Support Team. Support Team training enables each contributing individual to develop their understanding of Tools for Peace. Trained Support Team members aid Tools For Peace Facilitators in providing quality programming to all participants. Investment in this training certifies you as an authorized member of our Support Team, able to—

  • Contribute to Tools For Peace programs (see roles on right)
  • Receive stipends for your contributions to TFP programs
  • Enter into the Tools For Peace Facilitator training track

As a member of our Support Team, you will become a member of a select group of authorized individuals, and reflect the standards and ideals of Tools For Peace. Support Team members aid Tools For Peace Facilitators in creating a safe, positive environment for personal transformation, and help each participant develop their capacity to be positive in their own lives and have a positive impact on others. Support Team members begin to learn how Tools For Peace teaches practical methods to transform extreme (i.e. negative) emotions and generate compassion and wisdom.

Once certified, Support Team members are not required to attend future annual trainings (though it is encouraged), but are required to annually reapply for specific roles on the Support Team.
